Job description15 – 18 Years overall experience with 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields. Expertise in Python, SQL, and modern cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.). Hands-on experience with DevOps / DataOps, automated testing, and agile delivery. Strong technical leadership skills with a passion for coaching and scaling high-performing teams. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Looker.

My client is a GCC and is looking for an exceptional Group Lead – Data Engineering to join their Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. This role is at the heart of their digital evolution — shaping how they harness data to power smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor cross-functional data engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable data products.
- Architect frameworks for data ingestion, processing, integration, and governance across global platforms.
- Champion best practices, automation, and quality standards for data engineering at scale.
- Drive collaboration across Product, Business, and IT teams to deliver insight-driven outcomes.
- Explore and implement new tools and technologies that enhance our cloud data ecosystem (Azure preferred).
