Job Description
- Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
- Handle accounts payable / receivable , bank reconciliation , and ledger maintenance .
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports .
- Manage project-wise accounting , cost tracking, and budget control for construction projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and vendor payments .
- Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filing.
- Coordinate with auditors for yearly audits and financial review.
- Maintain accurate cash flow and petty cash records .
- Use Zoho Books and Tally ERP for all accounting and reporting tasks.
- Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and analysis .
- Supervise junior accounting staff
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of construction industry accounting and cost control .Proficiency in Zoho Books and Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime .Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and income tax rules .Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation , budgeting , and MIS preparation .Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and reporting abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a construction firm .Benefits
