Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor dialysis machines and related medical equipment during treatment procedures.
- Prepare patients for dialysis treatment, including explaining procedures, checking vital signs, and ensuring proper setup.
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and patient safety.
- Assist physicians and nurses in managing patient care during dialysis sessions.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during treatment and take appropriate action when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment times, settings, and patient responses.
- Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, care plans, and lifestyle recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols during dialysis sessions.
Key Requirements
Education : Diploma or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.Experience : Prior experience in dialysis operations or nephrology support is preferred.Skills :Knowledge of dialysis equipment and proceduresStrong communication and patient care skillsAbility to handle emergency situations calmly and effectivelyTechnical troubleshooting and maintenance of dialysis machinesSkills Required
