We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Intensivist with a background in Anesthesiology to manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The candidate will be responsible for the round-the-clock monitoring, stabilization, and advanced life support of patients requiring intensive care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage medical emergencies and critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency settings.
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals, ventilatory parameters, and laboratory data.
- Administer sedation, analgesia, and anesthesia as appropriate for ICU procedures.
- Perform ICU procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial lines, and tracheostomy.
- Coordinate with other specialists and departments (e.g., pulmonology, nephrology, surgery).
- Ensure adherence to infection control, clinical protocols, and ICU best practices.
- Maintain detailed patient records and update treatment charts and summaries.
- Attend code blue, rapid response calls, and assist in perioperative care as needed.
- Engage in family counseling and update families on prognosis and treatment plans.
