We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team in Mysuru India. As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage daily operations lead staff and maintain high service standards.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Personally welcome and assist VIP guests authorizing courtesies and ensuring their needs are met
- Manage and support the Front Office team conducting daily briefings and monitoring service standards
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally ensuring timely resolution and follow-up
- Supervise lobby and driveway operations to maintain accessibility safety and guest comfort
- Review and manage rate variances billing instructions and guest credit to ensure revenue control
- Coordinate guest relocations during full-house situations
- Conduct Night Audit processes and ensure compliance with hotel standards
- Log and report all security incidents and emergencies ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Communicate key operational updates and guest feedback to the Rooms Division Manager
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities F&B outlets and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure coordinated and efficient operations
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a Duty Manager preferably in a hotel environmentBachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with guests and colleaguesDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong conflict resolution skillsAbility to remain calm and make decisive decisions under pressure and in emergency situationsExcellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced service environmentHigh attention to detail with a genuine commitment to delivering 5-star serviceExperience with Opera Property Management System (PMS) is preferredFirst Aid and CPR certification is an advantageFluency in English and local language(s)Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidaysStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyEmpathetic approach to guest needs and concernsResilience and adaptability in handling challenging situationsRemote Work : No
