Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale software projects to an exceptional standard. This role involves leading SaaS solution implementations, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets, while working closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients and partners, managing relationships and expectations.
  • Drive project governance covering scope, budget, timelines, risks, and quality standards.
  • Manage change requests, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure third-party supplier contracts and deliverables are adhered to.
  • Build, guide, and motivate project teams; remove roadblocks to ensure milestone delivery.
  • Report on budgets, forecasting, staff utilization, and project status to leadership.
  • Support pre-sales efforts including bids, tenders, and solution workshops.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine project delivery practices.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software delivery project management (Agile & Waterfall).
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals : planning, resource forecasting, risk / issue management, and financial management.
  • Proven success delivering fixed-price contracts on time and within budget.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills with experience in strategic relationships.
  • Hands-on experience working with system integrators.
  • Knowledge of the UK Energy and / or Non-Household Water Market (Preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications such as Agile PM, PRINCE2, or PMI are an advantage.
