We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assurance Assistant Vice President

Business : Finance Function

Principal Responsibilities

• Preparation of critical Month end deliverables, SOX testing and highlighting of issues to business partner / management.
• Periodic reporting of status of control testing across multiple regional teams.
• Liaise with multiple teams to drive timely completion of control testing as per annual plan.
• Prepare and present various management reports for audit committee and various senior stakeholder.
• Independently drive preparation of various management reports and manage staff performance.
• Strong Knowledge and experience of Internal Audits, Risk Assessment, SOX 404 Internal Controls, COSO Frame work and Guidelines, Process reviews.
• Knowledge of performing audit of regulatory reporting for banking and financial services sector
• Ability to understand the Process, Polices & Procedures to Assess the Effectiveness of underlying controls.
• Ability to interact with the Global Business and Process Owners to review the Process and Internal controls associated with the Business.
• Strong Knowledge in Business Functions for the various Business Areas in HSBC.
• Adhere to the ICMP (Internal Controls Monitoring Plan) and work closely with the In country Controls Team.
• Understanding various Systems and their Functionality which are used by the Business Areas and are Under Scope of SOX Controls.
