About the Role
Our Corporate team is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Assistant General Manager – Print Media Sales to lead revenue growth and strengthen market leadership in our Print Media business. The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive sales performance, manage key accounts, build long-term client relationships, and lead high-performing teams in a competitive media landscape.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Revennue
- Drive achievement of sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth across markets.
- Design and implement effective sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Explore and unlock new business opportunities across industries and geographies.
Growth Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and corporate clients.Develop customized media solutions to meet client objectives and maximize ROI.Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with CXO-level stakeholders.Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and executives.Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.Provide training, guidance, and strategic direction to enhance team capability.Market Intelligence & Innovation
Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and digital teams to deliver integrated solutions.Champion innovation in print media offerings to meet evolving client needs.Qualifications & Experience
MBA / PG in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.12–15 years of progressive experience in Media Sales, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.Strong exposure to Print Media; experience in integrated media (print + digital + activations) preferred.Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building high-value client portfolios.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Key Competencies
