Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Chennai for a Site Civil Engineer. The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of civil engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include site planning, managing stormwater systems, and collaborating with other engineers and architects. The role involves conducting site inspections and ensuring projects adhere to safety and design standards.

Qualifications

o Day-to-day supervision of site works.

o Ensuring contractor adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

o Maintaining site inspection reports, checklists, and daily logs.

o Raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for quality or safety issues.

o Monitoring contractor's manpower, plant, and material usage.

o Coordinating inspection requests (IRs) with contractors.

o Reporting daily site progress to the Project Engineer.

o Verifying that contractor's work complies with project specifications, standards, and codes.
