Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (RHEL / Centos / Ubuntu) and related software.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Linux-based solutions that meet business needs.Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.Automate system administrative tasks using scripting languages, such as Bash.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper system security and data integrity.Install, configure, and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.Collaborate with software developers and system analysts to troubleshoot and resolve software compatibility issues on Linux platforms.Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to improve system performance and scalability.Qualifications :
- 4+ years experience managing Linux (RHEL and derivate, Ubuntu) systems
- 4+ years experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, OpenStack, or KVM
- Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting
- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN
- Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Optional Desired Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Tacker / VNFD / STACK / HOT strongly desired
- Strong understanding of server hardware and experience in server management
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, such as Nagios or Zabbix
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Linux administration
- Coding experience is helpful
QualificationsEducation and Certifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Linux Administrator or a similar role
- Industry certifications, such as Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are highly desired
- ITIL certification preferred
