Aquis Search is representing a leading global IT services firm looking to hire a Senior Lead – Contracts & Negotiations in Bangalore to support its commercial contracting and client engagement function.
The Role :
This is a client-facing commercial contracting position responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements across managed services, professional services, and multi-brand integration projects. The role involves close collaboration with business leaders, legal counsel, and client executives to structure commercially sound and compliant contracts that protect business interests while enabling growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and negotiate client and vendor contracts aligned with business objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations, risk assessment, and post-signing contract management (amendments, renewals, extensions, and claims).
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance to business and delivery teams.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, external counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records and support continuous improvement in contracting processes.
Ideal Candidate :
6–10 years’ experience in commercial contracting and negotiations within leading IT or technology firms.Strong commercial acumen with experience handling client-facing contracts (managed services, professional services, and system integration).Proven ability to balance legal protections with business outcomes in high-value negotiations.Skilled communicator capable of engaging with senior executives, clients, and external advisors.Exposure to international contracting across APAC / MEA regions preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Accounting (law qualification advantageous but not mandatory).If this sounds like you, please click apply or drop a note on aditisidana@aquissearch.com for a confidential chat.
