Job descriptionManage TDS / TCS payments and returns, ensuring timely compliance. Handle GST compliances including GSTR-1 (Outward Supply), GSTR-3B, and annual GST filings. Oversee advance tax computation and deposit as per regulations. Collect and issue TDS / TCS certificates within statutory timelines. Coordinate with auditors for statutory audit and income tax filing. Maintain bank-related compliance, including interest certificates and reconciliations. Liaise with external parties such as banks, auditors, and consultants as required. Prepare and update cost control sheets and track deviations. Monitor export sales management and prepare periodic reports. Implement financial controls to minimise errors and maintain compliance. Ensure all statutory and internal deadlines are consistently met. Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional certifications (CA / Inter CA / MBA Finance) preferred. Proven experience (3–5 years) in accounting, taxation, and compliance. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Excel. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Role Overview :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls, along with the ability to streamline processes and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and finalise financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss account, and other statutory reports.
- Calculate and monitor Gross Profit (GP) and Net Profit (NP) regularly.
- Maintain and monitor expense records for cost control and budget adherence.
- Prepare weekly sales and purchase history reports for management review.
- Ensure timely checking and dispatch of invoices through courier.
