DevOps Track Sr.Engineer

Description

• Design, develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems
• Facilitate product teams to create & maintain the applications in the cloud
• Monitor metrics for production workloads & optimize them for performance & cost
• Bring in Industry best practices in creating the right tools for automated testing as a part of Continuous Integration (CI)
• Create automation tools for product teams to be self-serviceable in terms of cloud infrastructure
• Define & Manage the IAM policies for the product teams to access the cloud infrastructure
• Ensure that defined standards / policies are being followed for the infrastructure to keep it completely secure
• Architect the deployments for application code based on the scale of traffic, development team structure, code packaging size & time taking the right trade-off decisions
• Keep the infrastructure upto date with the latest versions & releases from the cloud partners
• Provide consultation for the product teams in designing the right architecture for a given use case and clearing the ambiguities
• Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, partners and customers
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture or serverless technology, CI / CD and DevSecOps
• Participate in architectural discussions and design exercises to create large scale solutions built on AWS and also be part of the development lifecycle.Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelors with 8 - 10 years of relevant experience 4+ years on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google etc).Implementing experience with primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53 & S3)
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Complete hands-on understanding of AWS Services (Most used) AWS & Terraform or any other IAAC
• Strong hands-on technical skills in automation (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Shell Scripting etc).
• Strong hands-on technical skills in automation, infrastructure as code, logging, monitoring and observability
• In depth understanding of AWS serverless stack
• Good Experience in CI / CD pipeline setup
• IAM policies for AWS / GCP
• Ability to write scripts using any scripting language for automationsAWS Certifications (Good to have)
