1. Role Title :

Analyst – Lab Operations

2. Department / Function :

Facilities & Operations – Lab Operations

3. Reporting Structure :

Reports to : Facility and Operations

Direct Reports : Individual contributor

4. Role Summary :

This role will be responsible for core activities in Facilities & Operations of cell & gene therapies and lentivirus, including CAR T manufacturing, GMP documentation, GMP equipment oversight and QMS compliance.

5. Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day site operations for all labs

Maintain infrastructure for the successful manufacturing of commercial and clinical batches.

Oversee functioning & maintenance of common and lab-related spaces.

Manage the Tech-Ops for the maintenance of GMP manufacturing suites, R&D Labs and QC area.

Coordinate with utility vendors for timely delivery of materials (liquid nitrogen, gas cylinders).

Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders for calibration, AMC, breakdown, and maintenance of instruments.

Track AMC and calibration planner for engineering & lab instruments

Assist QC in environmental monitoring and trend analysis.

Record and ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.

Drive R&D lab equipment procurement, maintenance, and management.

Support R&D sample management.

Act as SPOC for clinical samples received for R&D purposes.

Ensure QMS compliance in facility & infra operations.

Lead CAPA, deviation responses & investigations for infra-related issues

Drive EHS related activities with all safety policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

6. Primary Objectives :

Optimized and efficient execution of Facilities activities.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of Facilities & Operations goals.

7. Competencies Required :

Technical Competencies :

Knowledge of aseptic handling techniques

Closed loop operations.

Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety Procedures etc.,

8. Qualifications :

Diploma / Associate / Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry.

Preferred 3-4 years’ experience in GMP environment and related disciplines.

9. Working Conditions :

Role Type : Full Time and Onsite

Work Hours : 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM for the General Shift and 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM for the Post-Noon Shift (on a rotational basis). There will be two days off each week, which may not necessarily fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
