Autonomous Mobility Engineer

Job descriptionContribute to developing modular software stacks for sensor data acquisition, preprocessing, and perception tasks. Build toward a unified software framework for vehicle-level autonomy that can be reused across multiple experiments and platforms. Support end-to-end setup of the Autonomous Mobility Lab, including hardware selection, software installation, and system integration. Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, camera, radar , and other modules, ensuring functionality of the lab at any time. Educational Background : B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) , Python, C++, and sensor integration. Familiarity with tools like RViz, Gazebo, ROS2 , and data acquisition frameworks. Experience working with LiDAR, radar, camera , and embedded systems is highly desirable. Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, object detection , or related ADAS algorithms is a bonus. Strong foundation with embedded systems Communication protocols Other Skills : Strong documentation and communication skills. Project management skills Team management skills Self-driven, highly organised, and capable of working independently Agile to work with small teams and creating maximum impact
