Job Title : Autonomous Mobility Lab Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Employment Type : Full-Time

Department : R&D – Autonomous Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically grounded engineer to be stationed full-time at the Autonomous Vehicle Lab at Bangalore. The selected candidate will play a key role in

  • Sensor integration
  • Perception algorithm development
  • Developing and scaling the lab's infrastructure
  • Develop an Autonomous software stack

Key Responsibilities

Software Stack Development

  • Contribute to developing modular software stacks for sensor data acquisition, preprocessing, and perception tasks.
  • Build toward a unified software framework for vehicle-level autonomy that can be reused across multiple experiments and platforms.

    • Lab Development & Integration

  • Support end-to-end setup of the Autonomous Mobility Lab, including hardware selection, software installation, and system integration.
  • Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, camera, radar , and other modules, ensuring functionality of the lab at any time.

    • Future-Proofing & Innovation

    a. Participate in ideation and prototyping of new lab equipment, such as HIL for AV, Lab car for AV & more.

    b. Explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas for lab enhancements aligned with future trends in autonomous mobility.

    Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background : B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) , Python, C++, and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with tools like RViz, Gazebo, ROS2 , and data acquisition frameworks.
  • Experience working with LiDAR, radar, camera , and embedded systems is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, object detection , or related ADAS algorithms is a bonus.
