About the Role
As the Head of Chillers, you’ll own and drive the business strategy for an extensive portfolio that includes Scroll, Screw, Centrifugal, Data Center, and Brine Chillers. Your impact will be felt across product positioning, business development, strategic marketing, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Achieve Billing in Volumes & Value terms as per Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly as per ABP
Deliver the VA & PBT as per ABP
Product approvals by Key Consultants and Government bodies
Market Share as per Strategic Goals
Improve the Customer Experience in all key touch points as per SIF Goals
DBO & Receivables Management
Conceive and Execute the Business Plans – Monthly, Quarterly and Annual goals
Drive the booking and billing of the assigned product lines as per ABP
Accountable for the profitability of the assigned product lines (Billing VA and PBT)
Strategic Positioning of the products with Key Stakeholders like consultants, PMCs and Customers
Business Development and relationship building with potential customers
Strategic marketing activities in growing segments like Industrial, Pharma and Healthcare, Government and data centers and IT
Close interaction with Government bodies like BEE, DPIIT etc. for regulatory compliance
Mentor and develop the team to be competent and operate independently.
Relationship building with Top consultants and customers
Providing technical inputs from time to time to the product managers and R&D team for future developments
Demand Planning – Ensure Timely Forecast & Forecast Accuracy
Developmental interventions for the building the capabilities of the team in coordination with L&D
Close interaction with cross functional teams like manufacturing, Supply chain and Quality
Ensure Structured Review and Response wrt Plan vs Actual on all KPIs
Inflow of enquiries every month as per the market share goals.
Usage and adaptation of Digital tools
Data Analytics to understand the market trends and align the strategic plans
Big deal management
To ensure Commercial discipline wrt DBO, Receivables in coordination with Commercial team
Manage the controllable operational expenses
Coordination with CCM & Marketing for effective Brand building
Ensure Customer satisfaction levels are maintained, in coordination with Service
Focus on Market developmental activities in High Potential markets
Drive adherence to Blue Star Values & beliefs and serve as a role model
Qualifications
Education : BE degree; MBA preferred
Experience : 20+ years in Chillers, HVAC applications, or related technologies

Expertise : Proven success in leading teams and managing high-value business operations
Mindset : Dynamic leader, exceptional communicator, and strategic thinker
This role is based in Mumbai, India and will involve handling chillers Business Across India.
