Job Summary :
We are seeking a self-driven, result oriented and experienced
Head - International Sales
to drive and expand our international sales operations in rice and other agri commodities. The ideal candidate will have a
deep understanding of global agri-commodity markets ,
especially in Rice (Basmati & Non-Basmati) , with a strong network of international buyers, distributors, and agents. The role involves strategy formulation, market development, customer relationship management, compliance handling, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new International markets for rice exports and agri commodities.
Build and maintain relationships with importers, distributors, wholesalers, and large retail chains across target regions (Middle East, Africa, Europe, South-east Asia etc.).
Execute end-to-end export trade cycle – from lead generation to order closure and post-trade support.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Export Operations & Coordination
Liaise with production, quality control, logistics, and documentation teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Ensure all shipments comply with international regulations, customs laws, and country-specific documentation requirements.
Knowledge of all export documentation.
Key Requirements : Education :
MBA / PG in International business or in related field.
Experience :
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in International sales / export of rice or other agri-commodities.
Proven track record of developing new markets and achieving trade targets.
Skills :
Lead, Develop and augment export trade of agricultural commodities.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of foreign languages is an added advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and Digital Marketing.
