We are looking for a skilled  Engineer – Standard Room  to join our team and strengthen our  inspection and measurement capabilities .

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out inspection of sheet metal and fabricated components using precision instruments.

Operate and manage measuring equipment such as :

Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge

Profile Projector, Hardness Tester

CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), Faro Arm, Contour Measuring Machines

Conduct  layout inspections  and maintain inspection records.

Interpret and apply  GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)  to measurements and reports.

Support production and quality teams in root cause analysis of dimensional issues.

Prepare inspection reports in customer formats and support  customer inspections and audits .

Ensure calibration and proper upkeep of all measurement instruments.

Work closely with NPD and Quality teams for new part validations and PPAP submissions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

4–6 years of experience  in a  Standard Room / Inspection Room / Metrology Lab .

Strong knowledge of  measuring instruments, gauges, and CMM operations .

Good understanding of  GD&T, inspection layouts, and dimensional analysis .

Experience in handling  customer audits and part approval processes .

Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.

Professional communication skills with ability to  interact confidently with customers .
