Job Purpose and primary objectives :
Managing Team with strong Technology experience in VMWARE, Windows & Azure knowledge along with Team management skills. Work along with Customer counterparts for Infrastructure solutions
This requirement requires core technical knowledge with direct interaction with Customer architects for design and implementation topics. Candidate should have expertise in design and implementation expertise knowledge in Core windows VMWARE and Azure.
Key responsibilities
- Understanding of Citrix O365 topics to manage overall Team.
- Hands on in implementing proposed solutions and be able to technically guide Team.
- Need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with customers technically and procedurally!
- Good understanding of Windows and Active directory, Azure Infrastructure services , server hardening concepts
- Experience in handling datacenter physical hardware support and coordination for break fix, optimization rack, server , and other physical aspects of Datacenter , Server rooms as applicable
- Have good understanding in implementation of advanced security, authentication, and single sign on across cloud and on premise. For technical assessment and solutioning
- Closely work with customers to understand the business objectives and define solutions to meet the business objectives.
- Experienced in working in critical production environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and lifecycle management.
- Candidate should have a good knowledge with Windows, VMWARE and technologies.
- Expertise knowledge in Certificate management, KMS and DFS and support Team as needed.
- Expert knowledge with Windows Operating system (Windows Server ,2012R2,2016 ,2019 and 2022)
- Candidate should have experience in handling design topics with Architects or should be able to interface Customer with SME support.
- Good Knowledge in handling Active Directory topics
- Expertise in designing managing DHCP and DNS. Migration knowledge is preferred.
- Project implementations involves migration of services upgrading the operating systems as per lifecycle by including all new features that got added in the latest operating system. This will involve discussion with Customer Architects to explain the new features with a clear understanding of why certain features can be implemented or cannot be.
- Knowledge in managing VPN solutions like Azure AO VPN
- To be able to handle BCP DR Drills and maintain the run books.
- Basic Knowledge of any scripting language.
- Good Experience with Virtualization technologies like Design, Installing, Configuring, administering, and troubleshooting VMware ESX / ESXi, vCenter and Virtual machines. Professional working experience on HP servers, Dell servers, IBM Servers & Hyper Converged Infrastructure or able to manage the core Team and managing these topics.
- Complete insight on Configuration of SAN & Network uplinks, VLANS and server profiles.
- To be able to Manage, Monitor and troubleshoot of large scale Virtualize environment Datacenters across the globe.
- Insight to configuring the failover clusters on ESXi server servers.
- Knowledge in handling storage replication topics
- Good Experience in handling the Firmware upgrades and Hardware migrations.
- Able to handle the complex issues related to the DVS and the integrations.
- Complete insight in handling the patch management using update manager and handling the escalations.
- Knowledge of handling the DR drills using VMware vSphere SRM.
- Support SME’s Technical Team in presenting and executing changes that follow standard and nonstandard changes.
- Identify the proactive improvements in the infrastructure and drive for implementation.
- Represent Customer discussions for technical discussions on security and key operational issues as applicable
- Maintain quality documentations for operational topics
