Informatica Developer

Description

Member will be part of a fast-paced global ETL team that delivers both Design / Development and Production Support functions. Should be fully hands on with development and participation in design will be good to have. The role offers great opportunity to learn new tools and grow within the organization. Should be able to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in Informatica – preferably in both development and production support functions
• Excellent grasp of Informatica architecture and PowerCenter component tools and functionalities (version 8.6 or above)
• Very good DB development and SQL skills – preferably in writing PL / SQL procedures and packages
• Good grasp of Datawarehousing concepts and functions
• Experience / exposure to reporting / OLAP tools is a plus
• Exposure to Insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty is a big plus
• Should be flexible to work in 6.30am to 3.30pm or 2.30pm to 11.30pm shifts if necessary and occasional support on weekends (on rotation basis) will be required
• Client interaction will be part of daily activity – excellent communication skills (both oral and written) will be necessary.
