We are seeking a skilled and experienced Informatica Developer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This is a full-time, work-from-office position based in Chennai Tambaram MEPZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Database, and data warehousing concepts. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to join us with a notice period of 30 days or less.
Key Responsibilities :
- ETL Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract,
transform, and load data from various source systems into target data warehouses.
Database Management : Write and optimize complex SQL queries, develop PL / SQL scripts, and performperformance tuning on Oracle Database.
Data Warehousing : Apply a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling, to build and support robust data solutions.Client Interaction : Serve as a key point of contact for clients, participating in requirements gathering, providing regular status updates, and effectively resolving issues.Troubleshooting & Support : Provide support for existing ETL jobs, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure the reliability and performance of data pipelines.Required Skills :
Informatica PowerCenter : Minimum of 4 years of strong, hands-on experience in the design, development, and support of ETL workflows.Oracle Database : Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and PL / SQL scripting.Data Warehousing : A solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and performance optimization Skills :Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) : Experience in implementing and managing data quality rules andperforming data profiling.
Python Scripting : Knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, or data transformation tasks.(ref : hirist.tech)
