As we expand our global presence, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Market Manager based out of Bangalore to support our student recruitment and partnership development efforts in the Indian market.
The Role
We're looking for ambitious and results-driven professionals with B2B and B2C experience in international higher education to develop and execute our market strategy in India. Based in Bangalore, you'll be instrumental in building our brand presence, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving student enrolment from one of our key international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive multichannel sales and marketing strategies across B2C, B2B, and I2I channels to attract qualified Indian students to our degree programmes
- Build and maintain relationships with educational agents, schools, colleges, and recruitment partners across India (B2B and I2I partnerships)
- Engage directly with prospective students and their families through various channels (B2C approach)
- Establish institutional partnerships with Indian universities and colleges for articulation agreements and exchange programmes (I2I strategy)
- Represent the university at education fairs, recruitment events, and networking functions
- Meet and exceed annual enrolment targets for Indian students
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to enrolment conversion across all channels
- Collaborate with our admissions, marketing, and academic teams in Germany
- Provide market insights and feedback to inform programme development and marketing campaigns
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related field5+ years of proven experience in sales / business development within the higher education sector (international education, universities, or study abroad programmes)Demonstrated track record of meeting / exceeding sales targets in higher education recruitmentExperience with multichannel sales strategies including B2C, B2B, and I2I approachesDeep understanding of the Indian education system and student mobility trendsExcellent communication and presentation skills in English (German language skills are a plus)Strong networking and relationship-building abilitiesWillingness to travel extensively within India and occasionally to GermanyBased in BangaloreWhat We Offer
