Role Summary :
We are hiring for the role of “Director – Strategic Hiring & People Consulting” for one of our clients in the social impact sector, to lead and scale their high-impact consulting vertical.
As the P&L owner, you will be responsible for driving business strategy, revenue growth, client success, and team performance across India, while also spearheading their expansion into Southeast Asia (SEA) beginning in 2026. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a combination of business acumen, people leadership, and deep expertise in talent consulting to deliver transformative outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Revenue Ownership & Growth Strategy- Architect and drive a business plan to grow the vertical’s annual revenue from ₹X Cr to ₹3X Cr in 24 months, through aggressive client acquisition, sector expansion, and high-value mandates.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management- Build, convert, and manage a robust pipeline of clients in the social impact, philanthropy, and blended finance sectors across India, while laying the foundation for organization’s entry into SEA markets in 2026. Identify strategic partnerships and cross-sell opportunities across organizations services.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management- Lead and grow a team of 15+ recruiters, setting stretch revenue and delivery targets, fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture, and ensuring continuous learning and team development.
- Technology & Recruitment Innovation- Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools, recruitment automation, and advanced ATS platforms such as Recruiter and Manatal, to drive scale, improve efficiency, and enhance quality of hires. Lead the roadmap for developing the organization's in-house recruitment technology product, working with internal teams and external experts to build a differentiated, scalable solution tailored to the social impact sector.
- Operational Excellence & Analytics- Institutionalize robust systems and recruitment operations including real-time performance dashboards, KPIs, and data-led decision-making to enhance profitability and service excellence.
- Talent Strategy & Execution- Oversee execution of leadership hiring mandates, including CXO and Board-level roles, across India and select global markets; ensure quality, diversity, and client satisfaction on all assignments.
- Market Leadership & Sector Engagement- Represent the organization at national and international forums, author sectoral insights, and build visibility as a thought leader in executive search for the impact sector.
- Team Capability & Process Maturity - Institutionalize structured training, recruitment methodologies, and a collaborative performance culture that positions the organization as the go-to executive search partner for the sector.
Experience & Qualifications :
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in executive search, business development, and talent acquisition leadership, preferably with exposure to the impact sector, consulting, or high-growth search firms.Proven track record of revenue generation, scaling service lines, and delivering high-value leadership mandates.Demonstrated success in hiring for CXO and Board-level roles; ability to build and activate strong sector networks.Experience managing a 15+ member recruitment team, building strong internal culture, and leading team transformation.Deep familiarity with AI-driven sourcing tools, recruitment automation, and ATS platforms such as Recruiter.Proficient in leveraging recruitment analytics to drive team performance, quality benchmarks, and operational decisions.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to represent the organization credibly with clients, partners, and senior candidates.Core Competencies & Values :

Base Salary : A competitive annual salary aligned with industry standards, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Performance Bonus : Up to two months’ salary, contingent on achieving annual revenue and performance goalsEquity : Eligible for ESOPs after completion of one year of employment, based on performance and contribution to strategic growth
