Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with deep expertise in the Ingenium Policy Administration System having strong background in Life Insurance processes. Should have worked in Production Support team / Enhancement team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, driving enhancements and ensuring seamless implementation of insurance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform gap analysis, feasibility studies, and prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
• Liaison with Business users and internal development team to understand requirements and translate into technical / design documents.
• Identify, develop and execute continuous improvement opportunities
• Strong problem solving & technical skills with decision making for providing effective solutions to the customers.
• First level analysis and provide workaround for defect resolution.
• Review delivered solutions for quality and accuracy
• Develops detailed implementation project plan in conjunction with other team members
• Perform Sanity testing for key projects and critical enhancements
• Provides input on Insurance processes, procedures and new approaches
• Audit Team Process and Procedure documents
• Apply Industry best Business analyst practices
• Responsible for guiding other IT application teams due to changes in the Core and work flow applications.
• Support end users during the acceptance process and responsible for migration activities.
• Responsible for new product setup and launch.
• System gap analysis and preparation of gap sheets based on product specification.
• Handling rate setup and commission setup for products
• Preparing excellent quality BRD, FSD and CR post business requirement analysis.
• Expert in reporting and tracking of bugs using Jira / Mantis.
• Configure and enhance ingenium product setup based on business needs
• Conducting walkthrough with development and QA teams
• Support UAT and ensure smooth production migration
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Claims, Policy Servicing, and Actuarial
