    As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll co-lead the Talent Acquisition function, guiding a high-performing team to deliver strategic recruitment outcomes.

    This role is pivotal in shaping Ausgrid’s workforce of the future, you’ll partner with business areas including : Emerging / New Technologies, Asset Management, Corporate, and IT functions.

    You’ll handle high volume recruitment and work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure our talent strategies are aligned with business priorities and future capability needs. With a blend of operational excellence and strategic foresight, you’ll drive initiatives that elevate candidate experience, strengthen workforce planning, and support our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and innovation.

    What you bring to the role

    To be successful, you will have the following skills & experience :

    • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and / or extensive relevant industry experience.
    • Demonstrated experience managing large volumes of full cycle recruitment, ideally within a medium to large organisation with a white- and blue-collar workforce.
    • Previous experience recruiting within a growth area.
    • Demonstrated experience recruiting for highly regulated sectors covered by an Enterprise Agreement (EA).
    • Experience in proactive sourcing of senior level roles.
    • Experience in the development of strategies, policies and processes for sourcing and recruitment activities to support and enable business strategy / objectives.
    • Ability to adapt to change & market trends including shifts in technology / automation, workforce expectations and global events.
    • Applied knowledge of relevant employment legislation and best practise recruitment processes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in influencing and coaching a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally.
    • Strong planning and organisation ability to ensure successful delivery of outcomes within timeframe.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating terms of business / contract agreements.
    • Ideally you will have experience using SuccessFactors Recruitment or similar ATS.
