Job Responsibilities :

The Director - Portfolio & Wealth Management will oversee and manage the organizations investment portfolios and overall wealth strategy. This role is responsible for driving investment performance, asset allocation, liquidity management, and long-term capital preservation. The position combines strong financial acumen, strategic foresight, and disciplined execution to optimize returns across asset classes while ensuring prudent risk management and alignment with ownership objectives. The role requires close coordination with investment advisors, financial service partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure that investment strategies align with the Companys objectives and risk profile.

Key Responsibilities :

Mutual funds and Exchange-traded funds (ETFs)

Portfolio Management Services (PMS)

Private Equity

Real Estate

Alternative investments.

Equities (cash positions and positions under Margin Trading Facility)

  • Maintain ongoing oversight of existing investments, including performance tracking, reporting, and compliance with investment policies, working closely with investment advisors, external consultants, and various Financial Services Groups.
  • Investment Analysis : Evaluate and analyse investment opportunities presented by Financial Services Groups, providing recommendations based on alignment with the Companys investment goals and risk appetite.
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, making tactical and strategic allocation decisions to meet target returns and risk parameters.
  • Stay abreast of market, economic, and regulatory developments impacting portfolio performance.
  • Market & Policy Monitoring : Stay informed on macroeconomic trends, policy changes from regulators (RBI, SEBI, etc.), and global market developments that may impact Indian investments.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present detailed management reports on the investment portfolios performance, asset allocation, and risk exposure.
  • Risk & Compliance : Ensure adherence to applicable investment guidelines, internal risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain robust investment governance, documentation, and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional designations such as CFA, MBA, or CA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, wealth management, or investment advisory roles.
  • Proven track record of managing investment portfolios and delivering consistent results.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of global markets, investment products, and regulatory environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Reporting Manager- Reporting to CFO who is based in Canada.

    Office Timings : 10.30 am to 7.30 pm (IST), to ensure overlap with stakeholders who are based in Canada

    Mode : Work from Office : 4 days in a week and work from home : 1 day in a week
