The Account Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role involves bookkeeping, reconciliation, budgeting, and assisting in audits to ensure financial integrity and transparency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage student fee collection, receipts, and reconciliation with ERP systems.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
- Reconcile balance sheets, expense reports, and other accounts regularly.
- Verify and process employee reimbursements and vendor payments.
- Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and support payroll processing.
Key Skills and Competencies :
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., Tally).High attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and organizational abilities.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
