Responsibilities :
This engineer will assist in critical activities include centralization of DHCP, management / monitoring of core DNS / DHCP integration with Windows Active Directory Service
- Stage, configure, install, document, and troubleshoot Efficient IP DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure.
- Upgrade and patch DDI infrastructure
- Work closely and effectively with customers, partners, vendors, and fellow team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Respond to incoming tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate, if necessary.
- Network trends analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault finding.
- Root cause analysis of network syslog and documentation.
- Work with TAC as and when required.
- Good Knowledge and hand-on with Network administration
- Should have extensive knowledge of switching / Routing.
- Contribute to documentation, review standards and operational procedures
- Troubleshooting the issues on different network platforms LAN, Wireless
- Provide RCA of the major incidents / problems
- Candidate should be flexible to work in 24
- 7 rotational shift
Qualifications Required :
Strong Knowledge in Network administration processes and concepts.Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fieldThe following certifications are a plus : CCNA, CCNP, ITIL Service Management4 to 10 years in a technology roleExcellent knowledge of EnglishProven experience in diagnostics and problem analysisTechnology Efficient IP(DDI), Cisco Routing and SwitchingHighly experienced with Wired / wireless networking and network securityDesired :
Expertise with Efficient IP DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM)Assist with configuration within Efficient IP appliances.Configure DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP, IPAM, and other Infoblox services as per the requirements.Configure Primary Zone, DNS forward zone, DNS reverse zone and Configure forwarders.Skills Required
