Location : University Campus, Bavdhan, Pune, Maharashtra 411021 (Hybrid; travel to Pune, Mumbai & nearby regions)
Nature and Days of Work : Full-time or Part-time (20 hours / week; 2 pm–6 pm), On-site / Hybrid (Monday to Friday; flexibility required for events and travel)

Role Overview
The Counsellor will play a key role in supporting Nayanta University’s admissions and outreach efforts by engaging with prospective students, parents, and schools. The role involves managing outreach initiatives, facilitating smooth communication throughout the admissions journey, and ensuring an excellent experience for students and their families from application to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Applicant Engagement
Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and parents throughout the admission cycle via calls, emails, and meetings.Guide applicants through application steps, entrance test, interviews, and offer-rollout stages.Track and monitor applicant progress using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.Analyse applicant engagement and support interventions to improve conversions from inquiry to enrolment.2. Outreach & School Engagement
Support planning and execution of school outreach activities, including fairs, workshops, walk-ins, and campus visits.Build relationships with school counsellors, administrators, teachers, and student groups to promote undergraduate programmes.Represent Nayanta University professionally in external engagements across Pune, Mumbai, and nearby regions.3. Events & Conversion Support
Coordinate and host parent interactions, counselling sessions, webinars, welcome meets, and campus tours.Design engagement experiences to support the conversion of admitted candidates to enrolled students.Stay updated on student engagement trends to enhance experience and outreach efforts.4. Communication & Data Management
Ensure accurate documentation of applicant interactions, feedback, and follow-ups in the CRM system.Support content preparation for outreach communications, admission updates, and event invitations.Maintain high standards of responsiveness, clarity, and consistency in communication.Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Psychology, Communications, or Management preferred).Certification or training in counselling, student advising, or marketing will be an advantage.Experience
1–3 years of experience in admissions, student-facing roles, counselling, outreach, or client engagement.Experience in educational institutions, ed-tech, or training organisations preferred.Exposure to CRM platforms, event coordination, and relationship management.Technical & Functional Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable with outreach planning and event coordination.Working knowledge of CRM tools and basic Excel proficiency.Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholder relationships.Familiarity with school networks and education sector trends (desirable).Leadership & Personal Attributes
