Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Telephone Prayer Tower will oversee the entire operations of the Telephone Prayer Ministry, ensuring that every caller receives prayerful support, guidance, and encouragement in alignment with the vision and mission of Jesus Calls. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for operational efficiency, spiritual growth, team leadership, and high-quality engagement with partners and callers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Supervise the daily, 24 / 7 functioning of the Telephone Prayer Tower.
- Ensure prompt answering of prayer calls and compassionate ministry to callers in multiple languages.
- Maintain proper and efficient shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
- Monitor and audit call quality, response time, and overall ministry effectiveness through established KPIs.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for call handling, prayer delivery, and follow-up.
2. Spiritual & Pastoral Oversight
Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and pastoral support to the team of Telephone Prayer Intercessors.Ensure every call is handled with compassion, confidentiality, and faith-based wisdom, using relevant Scripture.Conduct regular team prayer sessions, Bible studies, and spiritual enrichment programs to nurture the intercessors' faith and ministry skills.Promote and educate callers about ministry initiatives, blessing plans, and opportunities for Prayer Tower visits.3. Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate a large team of new and existing Telephone Prayer Intercessors and volunteers.Set performance goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the prayer team and monitor progress.Foster a Christ-centered, servant-led, and highly motivated team environment.Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings for feedback, accountability, and motivation.4. Quality, Process, and Technology Improvement
Use feedback from callers and partners to continuously improve the ministry approach and call-handling processes.Introduce and manage technology enhancements for better call management systems (CRM) and operational reporting.Ensure the telephone system and related technology are functioning optimally to handle high call volumes.5. Reporting & Administration
Maintain and analyze detailed records of call volumes, nature of prayer requests, and follow-up calls.Prepare monthly reports on ministry impact, operational metrics, and team performance for central leadership.Coordinate with other Prayer Towers and central Jesus Calls teams for events, campaigns, and unified ministry efforts.
