Job Title : Business Analyst Healthcare Domain

Job Summary :
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across business, clinical, and technical teams to understand the organisations needs, define clear requirements, and recommend effective solutions with minimal supervision. The role spans from requirements gathering and documentation through to validation, change control and delivery support. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of healthcare domain processes and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements functional and non-functional.
- Develop detailed user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows and documentation to support delivery teams.
- Translate complex business needs and healthcare workflows into clear actionable requirements for technical and QA teams.
- Facilitate alignment between business, QA, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business goals and requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability from inception through design, development, testing and deployment.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) : plan test scenarios, assist stakeholders, ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Manage requirement changes and conduct impact assessments to ensure any updates are captured and communicated.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to reusable Business Analysis frameworks, templates and tools.
- Stay informed about healthcare domain trends (payors, claims processing, clinical systems) and agile practices to bring best-practice thinking to projects.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills :
Proven expertise in Business Analysis : requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, agile methodology.Strong knowledge of the healthcare domain : specifically payors, claims processing, healthcare systems and workflows.Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills.Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.Experience creating process flows, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, documenting functional and non-functional requirements.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate effectively across teams.Desirable Qualifications :
Prior experience working with healthcare IT systems (EHR / EMR, claims adjudication, payor systems).Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and business analysis techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, prototyping).Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or domain-specific credentials (healthcare informatics, payor / claims domain).Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and change management within healthcare ecosystems.Understanding of regulatory / compliance aspects of healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, local healthcare data standards).What We Offer :
