Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Administrator with 2-5 years of experience to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, VMware virtualization, storage solutions, and backup systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT services.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices, Storage and fiber switches.
• Knowledge of LUN Creation in  3PAR,Primera Object Storage & Allertra  Storages.
• Lun allocation
• Knowledge of thin , thick volumes
• Basic knowledge in san zoning
• Storage replication knowledge of HPE 3PAR primera storage.
• Allocation of LUN in windows system and create File system
• Allocation of Storage LUN in VMware and create the VMware VMFS file system
• Share the storage logs with OEM for trouble shooting
• Vendor coordination for storage issues
• Administer Brocade director FC switches as well as blade chassis FC devices.
• Execute FC zoning for development and production, storage volumes.
• Managesnapshot as well as recovery methods for storage volumes.
• Execute across-site replication of significant DR data.
• Supervise volume replication overnight jobs and execute improvements.
• Oversee IO performance of production along with development of databases LUNs.
• Provide architecture as well as performance recommendations to DBAs and Ops.
• Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues.
• Ensure backup methods are in place as well as tested for FC LUNs.
• Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems.
• Administration of entire storage systems.
