We are looking for a seasoned Freelance Interview Panelist to assist in our recruitment process for a Digital Preservation Specialist . This is a freelance, remote-based role ideal for an experienced professional with deep expertise in digital preservation strategies, archival standards, metadata frameworks, and preservation tools .

Your role will involve participating in interviews, evaluating technical and domain knowledge, and helping identify top candidates for this specialized role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Participate in structured interviews with candidates applying for Digital Preservation Specialist roles.
• Assess candidate knowledge of digital archiving standards (e.g., OAIS, METS, PREMIS), metadata schemas (e.g., Dublin Core), and preservation tools / platforms.
• Evaluate experience with file format migration, long-term storage strategies, and repository systems (e.g., Archivematica, DSpace, Preservica).
• Ask domain-specific questions and practical scenarios to gauge applied knowledge.
• Provide detailed, unbiased feedback and recommendations to the hiring team.
