Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Accountant

with a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to the

E-commerce industry , ensuring efficiency in handling high-volume transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.

Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances.

Conduct bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and ensure timely payments.

Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.

Assist in audits (internal and statutory) and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation and records for all accounting transactions.

Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.

Experience in handling e-commerce transaction flow, payment gateways, and returns / reversals.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

Professional certifications (CA Inter / ICWA) will be an added advantage.

5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in

E-commerce or Retail industry .
