Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Accountant

with strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and be proficient in handling GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and finalization of accounts while coordinating with the senior accounts team at head office.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and journal entries with accuracy.

Handle

TDS : deduct TDS in invoices, prepare TDS workings, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Manage

GST compliance : including

GSTR-2A reconciliation, ineligible ITC adjustments, and GST return support .

Perform

finalization of accounts : posting journal entries with their correct effects, preparing balance sheets, P&L accounts, and ensuring books are audit-ready.

Prepare and manage

monthly ESI & PF sheets

for employee compliance.

Assist in the preparation of monthly MIS reports and financial analysis.

Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and other reconciliations as needed.

Work closely and coordinate with the

Senior Accounts team at Head Office

for reporting and escalations.

Ensure compliance with statutory timelines and support auditors during audits.

What We’re Looking For -

Minimum 5 years of experience

in accounting and finance.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter / ICWA preferred but not mandatory).

Strong working knowledge of

Excel

(VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).

Hands-on knowledge of

TDS, GST, GSTR-2A reconciliation, ineligible ITC, and invoice compliance .

Expertise in

finalization of accounts and journal entries .

Experience in handling

ESI & PF monthly preparation .

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
