Inviting applications for the role of Manager / Senior Manager, Delegated Authority Business, Data Operations and Reporting!
Responsibilities
- .Establish binding authority contracts with contractual rules and aggregate limits using the DUAL tool
- .Complete a bordereau questionnaire by aligning bordereaux with relevant reporting standards using the DUA schema questionnaire
- .Review errors and breaches, and perform data enrichments within the DUA system
- .Reconcile premium and claim amounts with the signing present on syndicate and commercial applications
- .Log data quality issues into the query log
- .Collaborate with the onshore team for quality control review of issues as part of an escalation process to underwriters
- .Standardize bordereaux and conduct financial reconciliation for monthly BDX spreadsheets
- .Exposure to London Market (syndicate and company) is essential
- .Knowledge of property and casualty (P&C), specialty, reinsurance, claims, and underwriting services
- .Work according to the turnaround time (TAT) and service level agreement (SLA) set for the business
- .Maintain customer service and quality standards by adhering to client procedures and process requirements
- .Manage a team of 30-45 staff according to service level targets
- .Provide technical support and bordereau processing assistance to team members
- .Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly discussions on operations with client underwriters and company stakeholders
- .Understand risks faced by the function and controls in place to manage and mitigate them
- .Ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
- .Function effectively in a team environment while exercising good judgment
- .Collaborate with senior management and peers for strategy development and execution planning
- .Conduct root cause analysis on escalations received
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
.Graduate in any discipline.Relevant work experience in London Market Insurance.Comprehensive knowledge of the underwriting lifecycle.Understanding of binder, Lineslips, and consortium processing.Exposure to reinsurance market types such as proportional and non-proportional.Demonstrate customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative, and innovation.Fluent in English, both written and oralPreferred qualifications
.Certifications in London Insurance Market.Preferred certification in one of the streams like CII London (ALMI, FIT, Cert CII) or equivalent (AINS, CPCU).Knowledge of bureau / non-bureau marketWhy join Genpact
