Infra Project Manager

Description

More than 15 years inIT infrastructure of which 5 plus years directly working with customer andshould have worked 2 / 3 years with current organization.

Bachelor’s degree orequivalent certifications.

Minimum of 4 yearshands on work experience in any area of Infrastructure Operations, NetworkOperations, Service Desk. Experience in Project / Program Management in relevantareas like Service Desk, Infrastructure Planning, Network Planning.

Specific experience ofonshore / offshore model, 3 tier model (offshore, account, customer) experiencewould be a plus.

Experience in workingin a multi-national / multi-cultural environment. Strong operations managementskills (preferably ITIL Certified) with ability to extract, analyses data todrive improvement actions.

Ability to handle / negotiate with customers and / or senior Account personnel. ExcellentDocumentation, Presentation and communication skills – demonstrated in a workenvironment.

Must have a depth or breadth of knowledgeand experience in five of the nine knowledge areas of Project Management asspecialties.

Must also possess the necessary skills,behaviors, and traits to be successful as a project leader or project / Programoffice manager or change initiative manager.

Working toward professional ProjectManagement certification recommended.

As a manager, provides direction to staffmembers in meeting established schedules or resolving operationalproblems.

Independently applies advanced ProjectManagement principles, theories, and concepts, as well as expertise in relateddisciplines.

Selects appropriately which applicablestandards, methods, tools, and applications to use.

Demonstrates analytical and systematicapproach to problem solving.

Communicates fluently orally and inwriting and can present complex technical information.

Can absorb rapidly new technicalinformation and apply it effectively.

Maintains awareness of developingtechnologies and their application.

Advises, mentors, designs, establishes,evaluates, facilitates, influences, and promotes.
