Job Summary :
We are seeking a high-performing Premier Client Manager responsible for the acquisition and advisory of High Net-Worth (HNI) clients, specifically focusing on Portfolio Management Services (PMS) sales.
This role requires proven expertise in wealth management, private banking, or high-ticket financial product sales, with a mandatory minimum entry-level portfolio target of 1 Crore and above.
The manager will leverage provided leads, execute face-to-face sales presentations, and build lasting client relationships to drive Assets Under Management (AUM) growth.
Job Description :
HNI Client Acquisition and Sales Strategy :
- Drive the acquisition and advisory of new HNI clients, leveraging leads provided from the existing pool of Affluent and Super Affluent client bases.
- Strategically build and manage the sales funnel through consistent Client Meetings and face-to-face (F2F) presentations to prospective clients.
- Demonstrate impeccable sales and negotiation skills specifically tailored for handling sophisticated HNI clientele and closing high-ticket PMS sales mandates.
- Participate in and assist with the organization of client seminars, workshops, and other focused business development activities to expand market reach.
- Meet and exceed targets for the minimum entry-level portfolio amount of 1 Crore and above.
Advisory, Relationship Management, and AUM Growth :
Own the overall relationship management with preferred clients, focusing on generating consistent Assets Under Management (AUM) growth.Advise Affluent clients on their existing investments and manage their overall financial portfolio, focusing on deepening the wallet share from the current client base.Utilize a strong analytical mindset to effectively analyze client data, identify personalized investment trends, and create lasting impressions through impactful presentations.Ensure all investment advice and portfolio decisions are coordinated and aligned with the insights provided by the internal Research team, Financial Planning department, and product specialists.Market Knowledge and Compliance :
Maintain good knowledge of Equity Markets and other alternative Investment assets relevant to HNI portfolio construction.Coordinate seamlessly with the product and research teams to execute and manage optimal investment decisions for the clients.Ensure mandatory certification requirements of NISM XA (Investment Advisor Level 1) and NISM XB (Investment Advisor Level 2) are current and maintained.Required Skills & Expertise :
Domain Experience : Prior mandatory experience of working in wealth management firms, private banking, or PMS advisory with high-ticket sales exposure to HNI client management.Sales Execution : Proven ability in PMS Sales and mandatory experience meeting clients F2F on ground for presentations and sales closures.Negotiation : Demonstrated expertise as a strong Sales Negotiator capable of closing high-ticket transactions (1 Crore+).Analytics : Strong ability to analyze client data, identify trends, and build compelling, impactful presentations.Market Knowledge : Good functional knowledge of Equity Markets and other Investment assets.Certification : Mandatory possession of NISM XA & XB certifications(ref : iimjobs.com)
