JOB PURPOSE
To bring a focused approach in segment marketing and develop annual GTM plans including top- line and bottom-line for assigned product category & cascading the same to regional level to determine areas of growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a regular voice of sales and voice of customer survey to understand the product gaps and execute action plans to address the gaps.
- Carry out continuous benchmarking of current product portfolio, propose, lead & enhance NPI process.
- Ensure correct pricing and positioning for all the products with timely revisions as per the market demand.
- Achieve and maintain gross margins for the assigned category by putting the right pricing strategies in place.
- Manage the product launches and phase-outs including adherence to a detailed product launch plan and effective launch communication.
- Take brand ownership and product lifecycle management (product phase-in / out, demand planning) & ensure portfolio is always relevant to the market with optimal brand mix to ensure all target segments are served profitably with minimal conflict and cannibalization.
- Drive product knowledge & value-based sales competency among internal teams (Sales, SDM, Funnel, Pre Sales & EPC Tendering) & channels (Channel partners, GFA, Dealers) through regular, structured training.
- Support sales team in effectively communicating the value proposition of the portfolio to external ecosystem including system integrators, contractors, consultants and end users.
- Engage with Marcum team for all new product launches with branding, launch plan, events, collaterals, etc. to ensure effective communication internally and externally.
- Handle public relation strategy in line with big ticket events and shows like INFHRA, Next upgrade, etc.
- Track competition pricing to understand market operating prices of products and align our pricing with market on regular basis.
- Train and develop team resources to be enriched with company values, ethics, culture and winning attitude.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
B.E / BTech (any) or MBA / PGDM (any)
WORK EXPERIENCE
10-12 years of experienceDesirable to have prior experience of at least 5 years in different functions like sales, business development / KAM, application lead.PREFERRED / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
Experience of managing 100+ Cr. size of segment desirable, preferable industry- electrical- lighting / switchgear / power, building material- tiles / ceramic / floors, furniture- office furniture / architectures.
