We are looking to hire a Data Centre Operations Lead in Mumbai to support our client, a top global investment bank.
The candidate should have background in Python programming / automation to be able to support automation efforts in streamlining and improving operations.
Responsibilities :
Support and Manage APAC DCS Operations team :
- Support Change and Incident Routines.
- Provide Access Reviews and Controls.
- Drive deliverable and SLA with Managed Service entities.
- Routine visits to the data hall.
- Monitoring hosting locations facilities.
- Review monthly Colo vendor reports.
- Performance scorecard review for EVM for high-rise and enterprise critical facilities.
- Annual review of Vendor Level Risk Assessment (VLRA) with EVM.
- Coordinate facilitys critical events, eg Loss of Utility Test (LOUT).
Audits and Assessments :
Support internal, external and regulatory audits data collection and reviews.Annual Facility Risk Assessment (FRA) review.Automation :
Needs to know python to support some of the existing automation.Improve operations by developing new automation.Requirements :
At least 5 years of relevant Data Centre Operations Experience.Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience managing Data Centre Operations Team.Good knowledge of data centre facilities (power, cooling, access controls, utilities, etc).Possess background / past experience in Python programming or automation.Experience with vendor management, SLA tracking, and compliance reviews.Past Data Centre experience in the financial / banking domain will be an advantage but not necessary.(ref : hirist.tech)
