Job Description Senior Visual Designer – Merchandise & Brand Office (Mumbai, India)

Seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Visual Designer – Merchandise & Brand to join our global graphic design team. This is a key role that combines creative excellence in merchandise design with deep expertise in graphic design, visualization, and brand storytelling.

We are looking for candidates with strong cross-functional design sensibilities and a minimum of 9 years of experience working across digital and physical design mediums.

The successful candidate will lead the merchandise design requirements of the company, including the design and branding of items such as t-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, bags, toys, collectibles and other merch for both DNEG and for associated IPs. In addition, the designer will contribute to broader design initiatives including social media campaigns, presentation decks, brand collateral, and web assets, as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creative development of merchandise and promotional products – from concept to production.
• Design product mockups and visualizations for a wide range of merchandise including apparel, accessories, collectibles, and packaging.
• Support storytelling and branding across social media, web, print, events, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and licensors to translate IPs into market-ready merchandise.
• Contribute to design for storefronts / pop-up spaces as needed.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment with a strong attention to detail.
