Functional Responsibilities / KPIs

As an insurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and selling insurance products to clients through our channels. You will provide expertise in insurance solutions, assist clients in choosing appropriate insurance policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The IC channel is an insurance specialist team within Nuvama Wealth responsible for working closely to drive the insurance business, products and strategies.

The investment Manager will work closely with existing RMs across Nuvama Wealth and will be responsible for managing and selling insurance products to Nuvama Wealth clients through various businesses and channels. You will provide expertise in insurance solutions, assist clients in choosing appropriate insurance policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Sales and Business Development :

  • Work closely with Nuvama Wealth RMs on driving the insurance products.
  • Promote and sell insurance products to existing and potential customers through relationship managers mapped to you.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the LOB overall targets with self and team.
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals.

Client Consultation :

  • Assess clients' insurance needs and provide suitable recommendations.
  • Explain insurance policies and coverage options to clients clearly and effectively.
  • Assist clients with the application process and ensure proper documentation.
  • Customer Service :

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients regarding their insurance policies.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to insurance products.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Compliance and Documentation :

  • Ensure all insurance transactions comply with company regulations and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and client interactions in the company system.
  • Stay updated with changes in insurance laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development :

  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Share best practices and knowledge with team members to improve overall performance.
  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

    2.Proven experience in sales, preferably in the banking or insurance industry.

    3.Strong knowledge of insurance products and services.

    4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    5.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Experience

  • Minimum 5 years ’experience in life insurance sector
  • Fresher to be considered only from Insurance institutes
  • Functional Competencies

  • Full-time position, typically within standard office hours.
  • May require occasional travel outside the present location to meet clients or attend training session.
  • Office-based with some flexibility to work outside the main office, depending on company policies
