Strategic Marketing & Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in existing and untapped segments across both states.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve sales and brand-building targets for each sub-division.
- Innovate and execute unique business development initiatives to strengthen market share, dealer loyalty, and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop region-specific campaigns based on local market dynamics and competitor analysis.
- Support introduction of new products or services by designing go-to-market strategies.
Branding & Promotions
Plan and oversee Above The Line (ATL), Below The Line (BTL), and Through The Line(TTL) marketing activities including dealer meets, influencer meets (masons, contractors, fabricators), roadshows, and local exhibitions.Ensure effective usage of Tata Steel brand guidelines while customizing campaigns for regional impact.Enhance retail visibility through in-shop and out-shop branding, wall paintings, hoardings, and other innovative on-ground initiatives.Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media, WhatsApp marketing, dealer communication apps, and regional influencer content.Develop content strategies for product education, brand recall, and market engagement on digital platforms relevant to target audiences in semi-urban and rural markets.Vendor Management
Identify, empanel, and manage vendors for printing, branding, event execution, digital media buying, and creative agencies.Negotiate contracts and ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of marketing materials and services.Evaluate vendor performance periodically to maintain quality standards.Marketing Material Warehousing & Logistics
Oversee storage, inventory, and movement of marketing materials across the warehouse network.Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of marketingmaterials at dealer locations, events, or promotional activities.
Optimise logistics costs by route planning and effective vendor coordination.Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare annual marketing budgets aligned with business plans and ensure cost-effective utilisation.Monitor campaign ROI and submit periodic reports to management with insights and recommendations for future planning.Maintain a tracker of all marketing initiatives with vendor performance data and financial implications.Desired Academic Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Marketing or equivalent from a reputed institution preferred.Desired Work Experience
Minimum 7-10 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in building materials, steel, cement, paints, or allied industries preferred.Proven track record of successful campaign management, vendor handling, and market development.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Market share growth across product verticals.ROI on marketing campaigns.Dealer engagement and satisfaction scores.Reduction in marketing logistics costs.Brand visibility improvement metrics (reach, impressions, dealer branding coverage).Successful launch and promotion of new products or services.Skills & Competencies Required
