Job description ( Marine Engineer with Valid CDC and B1B2 US VISA) :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing Spare Parts Inventory onboard vessels within the decided-upon timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities :
- Identification of various spare parts of machinery present on board which includes the Maker's Ref. along with Plate / Drawing No. as applicable after checking machinery manuals.
- Segregation and arrangement of the spare parts in zip pouch bags according to the machinery and based on Cabinets and racks allocation as applicable.
- Labeling, Barcoding, and Tagging of the spare parts.
- Entering the location of the parts on the labels to assist in the identification of spares in case they are displaced from their designated cabinet / rack.
- Isolation and Tagging of UNIDENTIFIABLE spare parts as the case may be.
- Updating of the spare parts into the Inventory software installed on-board based on the updated ROB and locations.
