Set up assessment and communication models using the CAVA tool in CATIA, defining testing areas, head intrusion areas ('KEFLA'), and barrier positions for new and existing derivatives, starting from early styling phases and continuing throughout the entire development process.Collaborate with BMW senior technical specialists (FGI-5) to prepare homologation documentation for pedestrian protection and low-speed pendulum tests.Exchange CAVA models with the simulation department to ensure alignment and accuracy in design.Maintain the requirements for pedestrian protection and low-speed crash scenarios in Prisma.Work closely with the simulation department at BMW to enhance design validation.Support validation engineers in test planning to ensure comprehensive evaluation of designs.What should you bring along
- A Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong foundation in vehicle safety design.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must have technical skill
- Proficiency in LS-DYNA and CATIA V5 for simulation and design tasks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.
