Sap Hana DB Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator with around 6 years of proven expertise in managing, monitoring, and optimizing SAP HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HANA installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and HA / DR setups, with the ability to support mission-critical enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases in production and non-production environments.
• Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and system refresh activities.
• Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Carry out regular backup and restore operations, ensuring data security and compliance.
• Work closely with SAP BASIS, application, and infrastructure teams for smooth operations.
• Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and health check reports.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
