People and Culture Leader (India)
We are seeking a proactive, people-focused People & Culture Leader to drive our talent strategy and nurture a high-performance culture across our global business.
Based in India and supporting both our India operations and Australia Head Office , this role will be pivotal in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain exceptional people aligned with our company’s mission and values.
This is a rare opportunity to lead global HR from India, influencing the growth and culture of an innovative international aviation technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global leadership to ensure the company has the right skills in the right roles at the right time to deliver on strategic goals.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across India and Australia, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for technical and business roles.
- Represent the company professionally to potential candidates and build trusted relationships with recruitment partners and universities.
- Manage onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.
- Support and administer performance management and professional development programs that promote a culture of accountability and growth.
- Develop and implement people policies and governance aligned with global standards and local regulations.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen company culture, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and respect across regions.
- Coordinate training, engagement, and upskilling initiatives to support employee growth and retention.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, helping resolve HR-related matters with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with all local labour laws and HR best practices in India.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations within an international or multi-site business.Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.Fluent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate confidently with senior leaders and cross-border teams.Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take ownership of outcomes.Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to build trust across cultures.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.Experience aligning local HR practices with global frameworks and policies is highly desirable.What We Offer
