Electronics Test Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with test managers and analysts on test strategy, plans, schedules, and technical details.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing, planning, and executing test cases using ALM systems in internal or external labs, performing and supervising tests including climatic, endurance, vibration, EMC, and IP protection, evaluating test results, documenting findings, and generating detailed test reports.

You will also qualify components with Profinet and EtherCAT interfaces, set up and manage manual and automated test benches, investigate customer complaints, reproduce failures, and support root cause analysis with quality teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electronic engineering principles and experience working with programmable controllers (PLCs), such as Siemens or Beckhoff, and peripherals.

You should also have proficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3, especially in Structured Text or Python, and a basic understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols, such as PROFINET, EtherNet / IP, or EtherCAT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in setting up and operating complex manual or automated test systems
• Experience as a test engineer in environmental testing is highly desirable
• Hands-on knowledge of PLCs and peripherals
• Proficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3
• Familiarity with software testing principles and tools, such as Jira, Doors, or Codebeamer
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
