Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as Project Manager in the PMU for CRM.

The candidate will be responsible for managing project implementation, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring the timely delivery of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for the Crop Residue Management initiative.
• Coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, NGOs, and field teams for smooth project implementation.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare regular reports / presentations for management and government stakeholders.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Support policy advocacy and knowledge dissemination related to crop residue management.
• Facilitate workshops, training, and awareness campaigns for stakeholders and farmer groups.
• Ensure effective financial, operational, and administrative management of the project.
• Act as a backup resource for the Lead Project Manager (Kapil Mathur) and provide continuity in project B.Tech, or Post Graduate degree in relevant field (preferably Agriculture / Rural Development / Environmental Studies / Project Management).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with preference for candidates having agriculture sector exposure.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects with multi-stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills (both written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel across Haryana as per project requirements.

Chandigarh, Haryana (with field visits across project areas)
